The Florida and Texas independent automobile dealers associations have new leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Florida Independent Automobile Dealers Association<\/a> has named Chuck Bonanno its executive director. Bonanno has more than 30 years of experience in the independent dealer industry, including serving as the Vice President of Dealer Development for NIADA from 2016 to 2021. He\u2019s served as a trainer, moderator and consultant for independent dealers and led buy here-pay here and lease here-pay here businesses across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cIt is an honor and a privilege to serve as the FIADA Executive Director, and I intend to make sure the association fulfills its mission to serve Florida\u2019s Independent Dealers,\u201d Bonanno said in a press release. \u201cI am a staunch believer in the association and it is my goal to increase membership participation, leverage our vendor relationships, improve our educational offerings, advocate for dealers in Tallahassee and our staff pledges to provide excellent customer service to our dealer members.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonanno lives in Sarasota, Fla., and will be headquartered there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To have someone with the experience, know-how and vast network that Chuck brings to the association, we couldn\u2019t be more fortunate\u201d said Jason March, Chairman of the FIADA Board in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association <\/a>(TIADA) announced the appointment of John Frullo as its new Executive Director, replacing Jeff Martin, who will start as the NIADA CEO March 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frullo previously served in the Texas House of Representatives. A CPA, who has worked in finance and management at various businesses, recently owned a successful print, design and promotional products company. He served as the secretary\/treasurer and ultimately chairman of the board for the Printing & Imaging Association of MidAmerica.<\/p>\n\n\n

They have done a phenomenal job building the TIADA into a powerhouse association, and I look forward to working alongside its members to promote and protect the independent automobile industry in Texas,\u201d said Frullo in a press release. \u201cI am very familiar with TIADA and its mission from my time in the legislature. I have been extremely active within my own trade association, and I understand the important role associations play in the lives of their members.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frullo represented a Lubbock district in the Texas House for 10 years until 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
