The lineup of moderators for the NIADA BHPH Dealer Forum is shaping up with several of the nation\u2019s top dealers committing to leading roundtables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The growing list of commitments for the Dealer Forum Nov. 10-12 in New Orleans includes Richard Barnard of Tio Chuy\u2019s Auto Sales in Oklahoma City, Steve Jordan of AutoVida in Lancaster, Texas, Russell Moore of Top Notch Used Cars in Conroe, Texas, and Ben Libby of Highway Motors in Chico, California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will be leading discussions on sales, inventory, reconditioning, capital, customer retention, underwriting, compliance, employee management and other hot topics during the roundtables, which will include approximately 20 dealers matched by size and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Libby is returning to lead a roundtable after serving as a moderator last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRoundtable discussions enable a free flow of information and ideas from one dealer to another. You never know what the topic may be or who may have a great idea,\u201d Libby said. \u201cOften when a dealer presents a problem they\u2019re having in their dealership, the members of the roundtable will suggest five completely different possible solutions. Anyone can be the teacher, and anyone can be the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI found that dealers are extremely open and helpful in this environment. I think everyone likes to be the person who has the solution to someone else\u2019s problem. This environment allows everyone to showcase their knowledge and experience for everyone\u2019s benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore, who has been a part of 20 Groups for more than 10 years, agreed that dealers are willing to share and are eager to help each other during the roundtable discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s usually a couple of guys like myself that don\u2019t mind giving back. I\u2019m on the tail end of my career,\u201d Moore said. \u201cWe\u2019re at the point now where I\u2019m supposed to be and now I\u2019m giving back. I\u2019m not holding back any information. There\u2019s always two or three dealers in the room that are in the same mode. They\u2019ve been there and done that. They\u2019re telling you the honest truth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with the roundtables, the Dealer Forum will include education breakout sessions and dealer panels on accessing capital, hiring talent, adopting emerging technology, best 20 Group tips, marketing, sales, inventory management and protecting your dealership from fraud and compliance issues.
