In an election year, PAC Committee Chairman and NIADA President-elect Don Griffin was proud to see the contributions of dealers to strengthen their voice in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will go a long way to promoting the industry and getting to legislators.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The PAC Cup Dinner started with a rousing speech from U.S. Senator and retired college football coach Tommy Tuberville (Alabama). Tuberville thanked dealers for their contributions to the country and for helping the working class access vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou take a chance on people,\u201d Tuberville said. \u201cYou give a service to the people of this country. Thanks for being a capitalist and working to help this country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tuberville, who worked for ESPN as a college football analyst after retiring from the sidelines, did provide a prognostication for the national title, saying it would come down to Tennessee or Texas based on the early season results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The NIADA PAC Cup is heading to the Midwest.
