After 37 years in business, Lisa Marshall stands firm on what a successful collections strategy is built on \u2013 relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe processes have changed as technology has evolved, but I keep going back to this, the foundation of collections has not changed. It\u2019s because it\u2019s really based on relationships,\u201d Marshall said. \u201cYou have to have a true understanding for the customer and appreciation for what life throws at them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the BHPH Dealer Forum in New Orleans Nov. 10-12, Marshall, the owner of North Main Motors in Marysville Ohio and the 2023 Ohio Quality Dealer of the Year, will join a panel along with Jennifer Harlow of A&D Motors in Arab, Alabama, and Tyler Simmons of Abilene Used Car Sales in Abilene, Texas, to discuss Collections Strategies that Work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dealer panel is in addition to the deep-dive workshop on Collections and Underwriting by Govinda Romero of the Motory Group in Gainesville, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
