{"id":5645,"date":"2025-03-03T09:02:36","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T15:02:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/niada.com\/dashboard\/?p=5645"},"modified":"2025-03-03T14:44:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T20:44:56","slug":"treasury-department-suspends-enforcement-of-beneficial-ownership-rule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/niada.com\/dashboard\/treasury-department-suspends-enforcement-of-beneficial-ownership-rule\/","title":{"rendered":"Treasury Department suspends enforcement of beneficial ownership rule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. Treasury Department announced Sunday it suspending enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act, which would have required companies to file beneficial ownership documents with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement from U.S. Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent followed a recent court ruling that would have required businesses to comply with the CTA and file the documents by March 21 or face penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The treasury department announced it would not enforce any penalties or fines against U.S. citizens or domestic companies.
