Longtime association executive Danny Langfield has been named to NIADA\u2019s newly created role, Director of Strategic Initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Langfield comes to the association from his most recent role as Executive Director of the Auto Mobility Research & Education Foundation<\/a> (AMREF).<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWhat a fantastic opportunity,\u201d Langfield said. \u201cThe forward momentum and positive energy today at NIADA are palpable. The association is ascendant, and I\u2019m genuinely excited to join a team that is so clearly focused on uniting the industry, growing its voice and serving its members.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Langfield brings 20 years of association experience to his new role, including a 2006-2016 stint as Deputy Executive Director of the Texas Independent Automobile Dealers Association<\/a>, where he oversaw dealer compliance and education programs, among numerous other responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDanny is very unique in that he brings both a broad knowledge of our industry and a rich history of executive-level association experience, which is exactly what we need in this position,\u201d said NIADA CEO Jeff Martin. \u201cHis expertise in dealer compliance, data analysis and communications will have an immediate impact on the association as we continue to increase member value and support our state affiliates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to his most recent role with AMREF, Langfield served from 2016-2023 as CEO of the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association<\/a> (NMEDA), a 501c6 trade organization representing auto dealers specializing in wheelchair accessible vehicles. The association is the exclusive administrator of the nationally recognized \u201cQuality Assurance Program\u201d accreditation and a strong advocate for veterans with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs far as my new role, I\u2019m probably most excited about the opportunity to bring back and revitalize the Used Car Industry Report<\/em>,\u201d Langfield said. \u201cJeff has made it clear that providing meaningful, actionable data for all our members is among the top priorities for the association. I can\u2019t wait to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
