The Cup is awarded each year to the region that contributes the most to the PAC Fund between the NIADA Convention and the National Policy Conference in Washington, D.C., which this year will be held Sept. 19-20.
Region III is the reigning champ.
In its eight-year history, the competition has raised more than $800,000 for the PAC Fund, which helps NIADA support candidates for office who will work to protect the interests of independent dealers, the used vehicle industry and small business.
The NIADA PAC, the Political Action Committee of the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association, was established to financially support candidates who share our vision for the future of the independent dealer and who will continue to fight for the used auto industry and your best interests.
The NIADA PAC may only make political contributions to candidates for federal office. Further, federal law requires us to obtain express authorization from a member of NIADA prior to soliciting contributions or communicating regarding NIADA PAC business. This requirement applies to any PAC communications conducted via mail, electronic mail, and those made during meetings and conventions.
NIADA requires that an authorized representative of your company complete the prior authorization form. Completing the approval form does not obligate you in any way to support or contribute to the NIADA PAC, it simply allows us to communicate fundraising efforts.
