A year later, Jack Carter, the owner of Turn and Burn Motors in Conyers, Georgia, still can’t believe he earned the National Quality Dealer of the Year.
He started his dealership in 2013 and runs the business with his wife, Kate, and brother, Ben.
“It’s the most humbling thing to ever happen to me. There were so many other deserving finalists, who have been doing this a long time and are doing things the right way,” Carter said.
Carter will be back on stage at the 2026 NIADA Convention and Expo when the next NQD is named on June 22 during the Dealer Awards Luncheon at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver. Register now at niada.com/convention to see the latest NQD be named.
“It’ll bring back so many emotions. I’d never won anything in my life before being called out,” Carter said. “It was amazing. I think about it all the time.
“I’ll be elated for whoever wins, and adding that dealer to a special list. It’ll be a real special moment.”
This year, 11 dealers will vie for the chance to join an elite set of dealers who exemplify a commitment to quality and excellence in the industry, as well as outstanding customer service and community service.
