Jeffrey Myers will be attending his second NIADA Convention and Expo in upgraded accommodations.
The owner of All Wheel Drive Motors in Denver won the May 3 drawing for the free suite at the Wynn in Las Vegas during the NIADA Accelerate 2023 Convention and Expo June 19-22.
“It’s terrific,” Myers said. “Jeff Martin called me and told me they were picking up the room.”
Myers will not be the only dealer attending the largest conference and expo for the independent automobile dealer with upgraded accommodations courtesy of NIADA. A second drawing for a free suite throughout the conference will be held noon May 17 for all paid attendees registered by midnight May 15. Registration is open at niada.com/convention.
The winner will be announced May 18.
Myers was renting a small lot in Denver, selling 40 cars per month, before buying a property last year, tripling his space and seeing sales soar to 80 to 90 cars per month.
As he was transitioning his business setup, Myers attended his first National Independent Automobile Dealers Association Conference and Expo in Las Vegas. At the education sessions and while visiting with other dealers from across the nation, he picked up helpful tips to help grow his business.
“All the breakout classes were beneficial, along with networking and talking to the other car dealers,” Myers said.
“There’s a multitude of little things that you pick up. You try some that work and some you try may not be a good fit.”

This year’s convention and expo features 77 education sessions to provide helpful information for everyone from rookies to industry veterans.
The brightest minds in the independent auto industry — including independent dealers and NIADA 20 Group moderators — will provide information on everything from reconditioning, inventory, finance to marketing. The many breakout sessions will allow you plenty of chances to pick the brains of these leaders over the four days in seven different areas — dealer operations, leadership, CPO, BHPH, data and analytics, marketing and compliance.
Myers, who was previously in the telecom industry until 2014, said he will be attending sessions to learn more about in-house financing.
Dealers will get the rare opportunity to hear first-hand from representatives from the IRS, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and how compliance is viewed by the regulating agencies.
The popular service bay demonstrations will return. The focused 20-minute sessions give independent dealers insight into products and solutions designed to improve profitability.
You will also find more than 200 solutions from providers in the expansive expo hall. Also lenders will be on hand to visit with during the finance fair.
Dealers will hear from a pair of excellent keynote speakers. CARFAX will present boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard. Michael Cirillo, the host of the Dealer Playbook Podcast, will be the keynote for the National Quality Dealer award presentation Thursday afternoon.
“It’s definitely a great value and great use of your time,” Myers said.
