Invest in your industry with PAC donation

During the NIADA PAC Dinner on Monday, Sept. 15, at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C., dealers and industry members will be asked for not just a donation, but rather an investment in their livelihood.

The PAC contributions are a vital resource for the NIADA advocacy team in Washington, enabling them to build relationships with members of Congress who understand the business and champion policies that protect and promote independent dealers.

All dealers and industry affiliates need allies in Congress who value what we do in helping consumers attain safe and affordable transportation and recognize the role independent dealers play in local economies and are committed to advancing policies that ensure our long-term success.  PAC contributions help NIADA elect and support those allies.

Contributing is simple. Just click this link to donate online using a credit card.  It takes only a few minutes.

Contributions can also be made at the NIADA Policy Conference’s PAC Dinner as the six regions in NIADA compete for bragging rights for bringing in the most money, with the winning region taking home the coveted NIADA PAC Cup. Last year, during the PAC Dinner, Region 3 won the title, raising $71,200. Overall, independent dealers raked in $126,500 for the political action committee.

The PAC Dinner is at 7:30 p.m. and will feature an address from rising Republican Tennessee Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger. Harshbarger, who represents Tennessee’s 1st congressional district, which includes Bristol and East Tennessee, is in her third term in Washington. A pharmacist by trade, Harshbarger ran her own small business before joining Congress. She serves on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, along with subcommittees on energy, health and commerce, manufacturing and trade.
