Retail giant Amazon announced this week it will add used and certified pre-owned vehicles to its site.
In a press release, Amazon stated dealers will be able to list their used vehicle inventory on its site. The service has been launched in Los Angeles with Hyundai dealers, with plans to expand across the country.
“We look forward to bringing the convenience of Amazon Autos to used vehicle sales,” said Fan Jin, global leader of Amazon Autos, in the press release. “This expansion is driven by strong interest from our dealer partners. By including certified pre-owned and used vehicles, we’re meeting dealer demand for broader online reach while offering customers a wider selection of high-quality vehicles to fit your budget and unique lifestyle needs. This move continues our commitment to support local dealerships, now connecting dealers with more prospective customers online across new, certified pre-owned, and used vehicle categories.”
Amazon previously launched the sales of new Hyundai vehicles in December 2024.
Vehicles listed on the Amazon site will include a 3-day/300-mile return policy and a minimum 30-day/1,000 limited warranty. The vehicles must also be within 75 miles of the customer.
