Second-generation car dealer John Stepanek welcomed Congressman Mike Haridopolos (R-FL) to his dealership, Stepanek’s Auto Sales and Service, in Vero Beach, Florida, Tuesday.

Stepanek, who operates the dealership with his sons, talked about operating the family-run business started by his father in the 1970s, the importance of superior customer service, and some of the challenges facing independent dealers in today’s economy.

Haridopolos discussed some of the work being accomplished in Washington, D.C., to support small businesses like Stepanek’s Auto Sales and Service.

NIADA CEO Jeff Martin and Director of Government Relations and Compliance Patrick O’Brien arranged and attended the visit in partnership with FIADA.
