Dealers win ATV Adventure to start NIADA Convention

After missing the past few NIADA Conventions, David Adkins will be in Denver, Colorado, in June, connecting with old faces.

“There’s a lot of people I’ve not seen in a long time. I’m looking forward to reconnecting,” Adkins said.

Adkins will get the opportunity to see many of those fellow dealers before the start of the NIADA Convention during the NIADA Rocky Mountain ATV Adventure sponsored by AutoZone and ALLDATA. The owner of the Wilmington Auto Center in Wilmington, Ohio, was one of the dealers who won the most recent drawing for the ATV ride June 21.

The dealers registered early for the NIADA Convention, which will be held June 21-24 at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver.

Early-bird registration continues through May 20 at niada.com/convention, with dealers being able to save $200. The special hotel rate of $249 per night plus the resort fee and taxes runs through May 20 or until rooms sell out.

Adkins is a second-generation owner of Wilmington Auto Center, which has been in business since 1976. He is currently president of the Ohio IADA.

He is looking forward to seeing the changes at Convention.

“I’ve enjoyed meeting all the vendors and the education sessions have always been very good,” Adkins said.

This year at the NIADA Convention and Expo, more than 50 hours of education awaits dealers, including sessions on marketing, sales, collections, inventory management, AI and more. See the education offerings at niada.com/convention/education.

Two additional drawings will be held prior to end of early-bird registration.
