NIADA Accelerate 2023 panel provides forward thinking strategies for dealers

Dealers are always looking for new strategies to bring in customers and drive profits.

During the NIADA Accelerate 2023 Convention and Expo, a panel discussion, “Forward Thinking Strategies for Independent Dealers,” will touch on improvements for multiple parts of the dealership.

The discussion, one of 77 breakout education sessions at the largest convention for the independent dealer, will be 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 21.

Cherokee Media Group senior editor Nick Zulovich brings together a quartet of industry experts who will share recommendations that could help land better customers, vehicles and potential profits.

Kenny Atcheson of Dealer Profit Pros knows advertising and marketing. Atcheson specializes in “thinking outside the box” to create campaigns that often lead to valuable repeat business and online reviews.

Jasen Rice of LotPop specializes in inventory management. His moniker of “WTF” focuses on “working the facts” when watching used-car prices and market trends, so dealers acquire inventory that turns every 30 days for maximum profit and minimum cost.

Before establishing Chernek Consulting, Rebecca Chernek served in a variety of capacities at dealerships, including finance manager. Chernek provides strategies to ensure dealers put individuals “in the right car” through a compliant deal that benefits stores and their customers.

Among the insights offered by Jeremiah Wheeler, the top executive of DRN | MVTRAC, will explain how the tracking of both vehicles and people can help not only with collections and delinquencies, but also to enhance underwriting before delivery.
