Due to overwhelming demand, a second day has been added for the NIADA Collections Management class sponsored by Passtime GPS Solutions.
Registration is now open for the limited spaces for the course led by NIADA 20 Senior Group Moderator Bill Elizondo Dec. 12. The seven-hour course is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott at Dallas DFW Airport in Irving, Texas.
The course for the leaders of the collections department will give attendees proven techniques that streamline collections processes, increase collections, and reduce delinquencies and charge-offs.
“In the BHPH/LHPH independent auto industry, collection managers are crucial for the financial health of the business. They don’t just focus on getting overdue payments, but also play a vital role in communicating well, providing excellent customer service, and making sure the business follows the rules laid out in the Fair Debt Collection Practices,” Elizondo said.
“Collection managers take the lead when modeling how an excellent collection person should perform. Employees must understand how to be professional when dealing with customers who are having cash flow issues. Showing empathy is crucial, and collection associates need to learn to handle each customer individually as each has their own unique challenges.”
Elizondo has spent more than 30 years training and leading high-achieving sales teams, collections and operations in the subprime and BHPH markets, including highly successful tenures with the nation’s largest publicly traded BHPH organization America’s Car-Mart and Superior Auto. His leadership and expert understanding of every BHPH discipline significantly improved operational performance at every stop along the way.
Register today to join the class before it fills up.
