Dealer Forum hits starting line in Indianapolis

The NIADA BHPH Dealer Forum starts today in Indianapolis.

The premiere event for BHPH dealers centered around dealers helping other dealers at the JW Marriott begins at 3 p.m. Registration starts at 1 p.m.

Three of the top dealers in the nation will kick off the Dealer Forum, giving their perspective of the where the market is headed and what dealers need to do to set themselves up for success. Byrider’s Jim Wright, Tricolor and Ganas Ya’s Daniel Chu, and Car Hop’s Don Griffin will take the stage during a panel discussion in the opening general session. Wright, Chu and Griffin, who collectively have more than 100 BHPH rooftops throughout the nation, will provide valuable insight to dealers during the panel discussion.

Indiana State Senator Andy Zay, who is running for the U.S. House of Representative District 3 seat, will address attendees. Zay is a car dealer and former president of the Indiana Independent Automobile Dealers Association.

The opening general session will also include NIADA providing industry benchmarks for dealers to consider as they enter their roundtable discussions. Each attendee will be given a workbook during the session to help guide them through the dealer driven roundtables on Tuesday.

The dealer roundtables led by some of the top, veteran dealers in the nation. The moderators for the roundtable include Dan Francis of Andrews Auto Sales in Evansville, Ind., Ben Libby of Highway Motors in Chico, Calif., Mark Jones of MCMC Auto in Fort Worth, Texas, Luke Godwin in Godwin Motors in Columbia, S.C., Chad Randash of Randash Auto Center in Billings, Mont., and Eddie Hale of Neighborhood Auto in Decatur, Texas.

NIADA 20 Group moderators will also lead breakout sessions guiding attendees through best practices in the service department, collection and sales calls and underwriting.
