This has been a challenging year in the buy here, pay here industry. Dealers need to capitalize on every collection opportunity.

NIADA in conjunction with the Illinois IADA will present the BHPH Collections Training, “Collect the Cash, Not the Car,” Oct. 8-9 at the DoubleTree Chicago O’Hare.

NIADA Director of Education Brent Carmichael will lead the class. Carmichael has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, including nearly 20 years of training and leading 20 Groups.

Collect the Cash, Not the Car is designed to help dealers and their collection teams maximize your collection opportunities.

At this one-and-a-half-day course, dealers will learn:

•  To maximize the collectability of every customer

•  To overcome customer objections

•  Effective skip-tracing methods and tools

•  Effective phone collection techniques

The course includes a wide array of role-playing, classroom learning and interactive activities for your collections team to soak up the information and return to your dealership ready to collect the cash and not the car.

Registration is $299 for NIADA members and groups of two or more will receive $50 off each registration. The cost is $499 for non-members.

For information or to register, visit niada.com/collectthecash or call NIADA, 817-640-3838.

The class is sponsored by TaxMax and Ituran.
