Moments after registration for the NIADA Convention and Expo opened in January, Kevin Pendergrass of Carolina Auto Sales of Myrtle Beach registered.
“I haven’t missed a convention since 2009 or 2010. Just the networking with other members is invaluable and the education keeps getting better,” Pendergrass said. “If you want to grow your business, you have to be there. It keeps you up with the latest trends.”
Pendergrass said he believes in attending so much that he paid for another dealer to attend last year to get the largest selection of education in the used automotive industry.
Pendergrass’ early jump on registering paid off not only with reserving his spot among the more 1,200 attendees June 23-26 at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. He was one of 10 dealers to win the first drawing for the NIADA Supercar Driving Experience sponsored by AutoZone and ALLDATA.

Four more drawings will be held for another 40 winners to take the track prior to the end of early-bird registration May 23. Those that were not selected in the first drawing will be in the pool for the remaining drawings.
