Early-bird registration opens for 2024 NIADA Convention and Expo

Bringing four members of his dealership to the NIADA Convention and Expo, JD Tomlinson of Tomlinson Motor Company in Gainesville, Fla., found an endless value in the education.

“The four of us broke it up and attacked it at all angles,” Tomlinson said. “There was something for everybody. Every dealer can find value. If you put in the time, it will pay dividends.

“It was an awesome event, very well put together. The education was spaced out right and stretched into enough time slots that you were not overwhelmed. There was also enough time to go to the expo hall.”

Tomlinson is planning to attend the 2024 NIADA Convention and Expo, which will feature more than 50 hours of education led by experts in retail, buy-here, pay-here, management, marketing and compliance June 17-20.

Registration is now open for the event of the year in the used vehicle industry at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The early-bird registration is $545 at niada.com/convention through May 20. The early-bird discount is $200 off the standard registration.

Registrants can also take advantage of the discounted rooms at the beautiful Wynn Hotel, starting at $174 per night, plus taxes and a reduced resort fee of $25 per night.

“Having it at the Wynn is a game-changer. It’s the perfect setup to have it all under one roof,” Tomlinson said.

The education truly offers valuable training for everyone in every area of the dealership from ownership, management, service, compliance and collections. Each of the five tracks features multiple sessions led by dealers and industry experts, including several panel discussions. More education sessions are being added to the current lineup.

“We are excited about the great education schedule we are presenting for our dealers at this year’s convention,” said NIADA CEO Jeff Martin. “The quality of our education is the primary reason dealers attend our convention. We work with our members throughout the year to identify topics and speakers that match our dealers’ needs.”

In addition to the dozens of breakout education sessions, the convention will feature three general sessions.

The opening session 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, will include the annual analytics report to provide benchmarks for dealers as they start the convention.

That afternoon the keynote address will be delivered. Sugar Ray Leonard, John Taffer, Michael Irving, Dick Vital, Captain Richard Phillips and Bobby Bowden are just a few of the big names who have addressed the NIADA attendees on the big stage in the past.

A celebration of the industry and the crowning of the National Quality Dealer of the Year will close the convention Thursday afternoon.

Throughout the convention, there will be opportunities to visit the largest expo hall for the used vehicle industry and network with more than 800 dealers from across the country.
