Lendbuzz started 10 years ago, leveraging artificial intelligence to assess the creditworthiness of consumers with limited credit, including those new to the country, and provide financing.
Ten years later, the financial tech company is going public to offer stock, filing paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
“Lendbuzz expects to complete the public offering after the SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions. There can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering,” stated a Lendbuzz press release on the filing.
In its decade in business, the company has grown to partner with 2,164 dealerships, according to the prospectus summary filed with SEC.
As of July, when announcing a $266 million securitization, Lendbuzz had completed more than $2.1 billion of loans.
