Session teaching dealers effective video strategy to close out NIADA BHPH Dealer Forum

With consumers’ short attention spans, you need to capture their attention online in just a few seconds. Video is one of the most effective ways for dealers to grab shoppers’ attention.

To close out the NIADA BHPH Dealer Forum, Nov. 9-11 at the Loews Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew Street, CEO and Co-Founder of Dealer OMG will guide dealers through developing videos to turn inventory and gain leads during his session, “Pocket-Sized Showroom – Social Ready in Seconds.”

“I’m fired up! The closing session should leave dealers energized with something they can use immediately,” Street said. “I’m aiming for practical, creative, and easy-to-execute ideas that make social video feel doable — without needing a production or marketing team.”

The deadline for early-bird registration is nearing, Oct. 10. Dealers can save $200 ($495 per person for NIADA dealer members, $695 for non-member dealers) by registering during early-bird registration at  niada.com/bhphdealerforum. Group discounts are available for dealer groups with two or more registrants.

Discounted rooms are $269 per night and are available through Oct. 16 or until the room block sells out.

Street joined the automotive industry in 2011 after previously working at Facebook. His company Dealer OMG works to help dealers optimize their marketing efforts.

At the Dealer Forum, Street will present his simple formula to guide shoppers from scroll to sale – hook, story and call-to-action. He will present examples from BHPH stories and show how your team can shoot effective content using a free mobile app. Dealers will leave with ready-to-use scripts.

“You don’t need to compete with other dealers on budget to stand out. You just need to say the right thing, fast. Great video is less about polish and more about a scroll-stopping hook, clarity, and a clear next step,” Street said.

Street hopes to dispel myths about the video being expensive, time-consuming and no one will see it.

“Your team can shoot content today that earns leads tomorrow. You just need the right format — and that’s what this session will teach,” Street said.

Street’s session will follow two days of extensive education to help dealers to enhance their underwriting, collections, sales and service departments. The education lineup includes three deep-dive workshops, the popular dealer-led roundtables and nine education breakout sessions led by other dealers and industry experts.
