Workshops announced for BHPH Dealer Forum

Building a Business Plan, Creating Customer Life Cycle,
Ins and Outs of Service to be featured in deep-dive sessions

During the BHPH Dealer Forum, dealers will get the opportunity to take a deep dive into one of three aspects of their dealership.

NIADA will present three workshops – Building a Proper Business Plan, Creating the Customer Life Cycle and The Ins and Outs of Service – at the dealer-centric event on Nov. 10-12 at the New Orleans Marriott.

Register at niada.com/bhphdealerforum. Early-bird registration is open through Oct. 4 and is $200 off the standard member rate. Group discounts are also available.

All three 90-minute workshops are on Nov. 10 and will be a comprehensive in-depth session on the topic.

During the Building a Proper Business Plan workshop, dealers will be walked through drafting a path forward for their operation. How much capital do you need? How many cars do you need to buy? How much money do you need to spend on advertising? You need prescriptive answers to these questions and many more when operating your business. Ben Goodman of Byrider will help dealers find those answers during this session.

Creating a customer life cycle that works for your dealership is crucial to your long-term success. During this session, industry expert Neill Waters will guide dealers through getting their marketing right, ensuring their BDC is set up correctly, and completing the Customer Life Cycle to help their dealership get and retain more customers.

Setting up a successful service department to fit your store’s needs takes planning and a strategy. Dealers will learn how to develop a service department from reconditioning to customer service during the Ins and Outs of Service session led by Jason Harley, Service Director of Auto Express of Hamilton in Ohio.

These workshops are only part of the education. Many of the top dealers in the nation will be leading discussions on sales, inventory, reconditioning, capital, customer retention, underwriting, compliance, employee management and other hot topics during the roundtables. Each roundtable will include approximately 20 dealers matched by size and operations.

There will also be education breakout sessions led by industry experts and dealer panels on accessing capital, hiring talent, adopting emerging technology, best 20 Group tips, marketing, sales, inventory management, protecting your dealership from fraud and compliance issues.
