150 dealers. 123 meetings with lawmakers. That’s what NIADA members accomplished at last year’s National Policy Conference. Coordinating that many Capitol Hill sit-downs takes serious lead time, so don’t wait: register for the 2026 National Policy Conference by August 30 to make sure your meetings get locked in.
NIADA’s 12th Annual National Policy Conference rolls into Washington Sept. 28-29 and this year’s lineup is packed. The general session kicks off with a panel of experts and industry leaders talking about how dealers can flex some real influence through grassroots involvement and citizen activism. From there, you’ll hear straight from officials at the FTC and IRS on the regulatory updates that matter most, plus a full rundown of what to expect on Capitol Hill the next day — including hot topics like Right to Repair, FCRA reform, catalytic converter theft legislation and CFPB oversight — along with the latest buzz from the Hill.
Then it’s time to celebrate a little: attendees will head into a PAC reception featuring Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY), chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions, before sitting down for a plated PAC dinner. The next morning, it’s game time, with dealers meeting face-to-face with members of Congress. Then we’ll enjoy a lunch on Capitol Hill before more afternoon meetings, followed by a closing reception.
