Griffin named Jeff Baker of Car City Supercenter in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as the chair of the commission.
“Jeff’s had a long history in advocating for the betterment of buy here, pay here industry. He’s a great spokesperson and I’m looking forward to having him on the on the team,” Griffin said.
Baker has nearly 35 years of experience in the BHPH sector.
“I’m excited to have the BHPH Commission back in action and I look forward to being the chairman for the first year,” Baker said. “It’s a great way to focus on the specific BHPH issues.”
He expects the commission to work closely with the legislative committee on advocacy for the BHPH industry on both the federal and state level.
“It’s all about the focus for our piece of the industry. We certainly have our share of regulatory issues,” Baker said.
