Deadline nears for BHPH Dealer Forum discounts

The time is now to register for the NIADA BHPH Dealer Forum in Indianapolis Nov. 13-15.

The deadline for early-bird registration is just days away, Friday, Oct. 13. Take advantage of the $495 member price by the deadline. The rate will rise to $595 for NIADA dealers after the deadline.

That is also the deadline to register for rooms at the host hotel, the JW Marriott, and receive the NIADA rate.

The premiere event for BHPH dealers, the Dealer Forum is centered around dealers helping other dealers.

“The idea is really dealers learning from dealers, sharing information with peers,” said NIADA CEO Jeff Martin, while joining the Independent Dealer Podcast.

It will feature hands-on, peer education in dealer roundtables led by some of the top, veteran dealers in the nation. The moderators for the roundtable include Dan Francis of Andrews Auto Sales in Evansville, Ind., Ben Libby of Highway Motors in Chico, Calif., Tracy Myers of Frank Myers Auto Maxx in Winston-Salem, N.C., Mark Jones of MCMC Auto in Fort Worth, Texas, Luke Godwin in Godwin Motors in Columbia, S.C., Chad Randash of Randash Auto Center in Billings, Mont., and Eddie Hale of Neighborhood Auto in Decatur, Texas.

“We’re going all in with roundtables focused on different topics, with similar type of dealers and organizations grouped together,” said NIADA Senior 20 Group Moderator David Brotherton. “We may be focused on collections, sales and service. We’ll be talking about all three in various forms. The majority of people in our dealerships help sell cars, fix cars and collect money. We have to tighten up processes, procedures, training techniques and people so we can put our best foot forward in a challenging economic environment.”

Three of the top dealers in the nation will kick off the Dealer Forum, giving their perspective of the where the market is headed and what dealers need to do to set themselves up for success. Byrider’s Jim Wright, Tri-Color and Ganas Ya’s Daniel Chu, and Car Hop’s Don Griffin will take the stage during a panel discussion in the opening general session. Wright, Chu and Griffin, who collectively have more than 100 BHPH rooftops throughout the nation, will provide valuable insight to dealers during the panel discussion.

The opening general session will also include NIADA providing industry benchmarks for dealers to consider as they enter their roundtable discussions. Each attendee will be given a workbook during the session to help guide them through the dealer driven roundtables.

NIADA 20 Group moderators will also lead breakout sessions guiding attendees through best practices in the service department, collection and sales calls and underwriting.
