Ingram Walters added to lineup for BHPH Dealer Forum

Ingram Walters, one of the nation’s premier car dealers and a legend in the BHPH Industry, will be sharing his insights and expertise at the BHPH Dealer Forum.

Walters has been added to the lineup for the dealer-centric event to help dealers grow and thrive Nov. 10-12 at the New Orleans Marriott. The event will include dealer roundtables covering pressing issues for dealers along with deep-dive workshops and breakout education sessions.

Register now at niada.com/bhphdealerforum. Early-bird registration is open through Oct. 16 and is $200 off the standard member rate. Group discounts are also available.

Walters, a North Carolina native, has carved a niche for himself in the real estate and automotive industries over a 30-year career. An alumnus of North Carolina State University, he holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Business Administration.

Ingram’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to the used car sector. In 1999 he and Ken Shilson started NABD to help educate BHPH Dealers.

“He is one of the most entertaining and knowledgeable voices in this space. We are thrilled to have him closing out the Dealer Forum,” said NIADA CEO Jeff Martin.

“I can tell you a lot about BHPH what to do and what not to do,” Walters said. “One thing I learned, the more money a man has, the harder it is to get that money.

“Come to New Orleans. I’ll be there to help.”

The roundtables will be led by many of the industry’s top BHPH dealers, including Richard Barnard, Tio Chuy’s Auto Sales, Oklahoma City; Steve Jordan, AutoVida, Lancaster, Texas; Russell Moore, Top Notch Used Cars, Conroe, Texas and Ben Libby, Highway Motors, Chico, California.

NIADA will present three extensive workshops – Building a Proper Business Plan, Creating the Customer Life Cycle and The Ins and Outs of Service.

The education breakout sessions led by industry experts and dealer panels will address accessing capital, hiring talent, adopting emerging technology, best 20 Group tips, marketing, sales, inventory management, protecting your dealership from fraud and compliance issues.
